On 27th December 2014, CAT-2014 result was out and lakhs of aspirants were desperately waiting for their result but after the notification of result-out, CAT website was down due to large amount of traffic. CAT-2014 Website crashed CAT 2014 convenor Dr Rohit Kapoor told a National Daily that 16 candidates including a girl had scored 100 percentile this year. "While we are still to confirm how many of those who scored 100 percentile are from IITs, atleast 3-4 must be from these institutes."
