Amitabh Bachchan awarded as the 'Social Media Person of the Year' by IAMAI

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan has been awarded as the "Social Media Person of the Year" at the 5th India Digital Awards presented by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) in New Delhi.

The winners of the 5th India Digital Awards coinciding with 9th India Digital Summit, 2015, were announced at a ceremony held in New Delhi on January 15, 2015.

Over the years, 72-year-old Bachchan has been an active blogger and user of different social networks.

On his official blog Amitabh wrote :

There is an association of social media for India the IAMAI … and they reward me with the ‘Social Media Person of the Year’ award and it is time really to reward the Ef for this .. you are the ones that have made it possible for me to be given this recognition ..

The ceremony is in Delhi, and since I cannot be there, they came over to present to to me and play a video of it at the function to be held in a few days ..

But really … what a medium this has become .. and what a massive element of connectivity it is proving to be, not just for the times of today, but for the years ahead ..

The association was telling me that the Twitter account or its activities are conducted by those on this medium, to almost 90% through their mobiles ! I must be archaic .. I still use my lap top .. !!

And in India the present strength of mobiles is approx 200 million … still another 825 million to go to connect each one of our massive population !!! That would be some sight and sound … The prospects are astounding !!!

So be together my extended family and remain with one another in happiness and peace and friendship and love .. life is not eternal for an individual … cherish these moments and live the utmost ..

Hello Friends, Today I will tell you about the path of exam centre - " ION DIGITAL ZONE IDZ 2 MATHURA ROAD A 27 MOHAN COOP INDU. ESTATE NEAR SARITA VIHAR, DELHI 110044". First of all it is easy to reach there as metro station is near the exam centre. Nearest metro station to exam centre is Mohan Estate . The common path is from Mandi House to Mohan Estate. It will take around 36 minutes to reach there from Mandi House. After reaching Mohan Estate , move to your left hand side and take a walking distance of around 5-7 minutes. Just follow the path till pillar numbers 294, 293, 292. Both exam centres IDZ2 and IDZ1 come along the way with 2 consecutive cuts (IDZ2 at first cut and IDZ1 at second cut) on the left hand side. छत को गर्म होने से बचाने का सबसे आसान तरीका क्या है?

छत को गर्म होने से बचाने के लिए उस पर चूने से पुताई कर दें। एक हजार स्क्वेयर फीट छत के लिए पांच किलो चूना(डले वाला) रात में गला दें। ध्यान रखें पानी डालते ही इस चूने से खूब गर्मी निकलती है कि पानी उबलने लगता है इसलिए सावधानी रखें। इसे रात भर गला रहने दें। सुबह जल्दी उठकर छत को अच्छे से साफ करें और चूने के घोल को छत पर डालकर झाड़ू से फैलाते जाएं। आप चाहें तो इस घोल में आधा किलो फेविकोल भी मिला सकते हैं। फेविकोल को अच्छे से घोलें और हर बार घोल को हिलाते हुए मग में लें। छत जितनी साफ होगी चूना जितना सफेदी लिये रहेगा छत उतनी ही ठंडी रहेगी। चूने की सफेदी छत पर पड़ने वाली सूर्य किरणों को परावर्तित कर देती हैं और छत ठंडी रहती है। आजमाया हुआ तरीका है पिछले बीस साल से कर रही हूँ Writer: Kavita Sharma
