What are the 10 things that only smart people pay attention to?

1. Logic: Smart or highly intelligent people seek logic in all things. Anything that lacks logic is useless to them; anything with logic in it excites them. That’s why most scientists and geniuses have a very different opinion about God, heaven and hell, culture, customs, beliefs and faiths. It must have a logic to catch their attention.
   
2. Excuse/ lies/ cover-ups: They can always spot excuses and lies which is why it is so hard fooling smart people. You know they can unnervingly see through you.
3. Idea: Ideas leap from creative and imaginative thinking. They are usually brimming with ideas themselves and therefore extremely quick to recognise an idea in all situations however comic, tragic or impossible. That same idea may have been ridiculed, condemned or rejected a hundred times before by others.
4. Novelty: Novelty in thoughts, deeds, situations or objects cannot stay hidden from smart people..
5. Justice and truth: They notice justice and fairness and will not differentiate between friends and enemies for it. They value truth even from their enemies.
6. Learning/ lesson: Smart people learn from every situation. When faced with adversities, misfortunes or paucity they will usually notice the possibilities of learning that others miss in lamenting.
7. Pattern, hidden pattern, underlaying pattern: They quickly notice hidden underlying patterns that usually escape others even in broad daylight. Usually all scientists keep doing this all their lives: noticing patterns and then discovering what is the pattern leading on to, rather like clues in a treasure hunt.
8. Opportunity/ benefits/ goals: They notice opportunity in dangers, risks, misfortunes, tragedies, losses, pitfalls.
9. Perfection/ fault/ lacuna/ loopholes: Their keen sense of idealism helps them notice even minute faults, shortcomings or imperfection in things/ people that others are often oblivious to. This helps them reach or create a faultless state. Usually, all innovative new business ideas/ technology/ products have taken birth like this i.e. when a smart person noticed something was missing.
10. Mastery/ skill: They can always notice when and what someone is good/bad at. They recognise skills or the lack of it rather easily.
