There are some ways to protect yourself. While entering the changing room, one should make sure there is no hidden camera there.
So, how to check it?
When you enter the changing room, first of all, notice your mobile phone networks, because most of spy cameras are wifi oprated and it gonna block other nearby signals. If your phone loses the networks there could be a hidden camera. You can check it by simply making a call.
Then have a look on mirrors around you. Mostly hidden cameras are behind two way mirror.
Touch it.
If there is a space between your finger and its image then it is a real mirror. But if there is no space between your finger and its image then its a two way glass, means someone can stare at you through it.
Now, turn off the lights and see if there is any small LED around you, It may be a camera. Remember, it can be anywhere
(mainly on less noticable points)
Check every sharp points like buttons, screws, switches, corners, lamp, mirror edge, hangers etc etc. This how they hide cameras.
So, be a little bit aware before using public toilets and changing room next time.
Next step is about self defense, there are some basic tricks you can learn for your self defense in extreme conditions.
If you notice someone is following you in the way, then don't get panicked. First of all, walk fast and try to go at a safe place.
If he/she is able grab you and catches you, then hitting him at soft body parts will help you most.
Hitting on eyes, lips, nose, between the legs works really good. Remember, a strong kick between his legs can make him sleep for hours.
You can also use a nail cutter and keys of your scooty or car, (like this)
Once he is down on the ground you can hit him more or simply run away from that place. Just handle it according to situations.
Third,(last but not least), Guide your juniors;
If you have younger siblings, teach them some basic things. Tell them where to go and where not, teach them about good and bad touches. Ask them gently if they are facing something wrong. In our country, generally parents hesitate to teach these basic things to their children, but we are aware we can teach them.
