Step by Step guide to activate WhatsApp on Desktop or laptop

Recently WhatsApp released out a new feature i.e. WhatsApp on Desktop/Laptop. This feature is quite easy to use on your desktop and there is no need to download any kind of WhatsApp set up/software or application on pc whatsoever.

Pre-Requirements :

• Right now, this feature will work only in Google Chrome browser. Download Chrome Here

• User should install latest version of WhatsApp Application. Download WhatsApp Here

Steps to use Whatsapp on Desktop/Laptop:

• Open your WhatsApp application.

• Go to Menu and then come to WhatsApp Web.

• Android : WhatsApp - Menu - WhatsApp Web

• Blackberry : WhatsApp - Chats - Menu Key - WhatsApp Web

• Nokia S60 : WhatsApp - Menu - WhatsApp Web

• Blackberry 10 : WhatsApp - Swipe down from top of screen - WhatsApp Web

• Windows Phone : WhatsApp - Menu - WhatsApp Web

WhatsApp Web on Mobile

• In WhatsApp Web, you have to scan the QR code which is available at https://web.whatsapp.com/ 

WhatsApp Web on Desktop

• Now you have to scan the QR code just like taking a picture and scanner will automatically scan the code in matter of seconds.

• Now your desktop WhatsApp will be visible to you.

Connected WhatsApp on Desktop

Now there will be two notifications options :

• Phone Notification : These notifications are by default on for Desktop WhatsApp. It means whenever you will be using WhatsApp on mobile and desktop, both devices will be synchronised till your mobile connectivity is ON.

• Desktop Notification : You can also enable desktop notification by just click on "allow".
