On 6 July 2014, Top seeded Serbian player Novak Djokovic beat former No 1. Swiss player Roger Fedrer in the men's final in Wimbledon. This was Djokovic's 7th grand slam title and second Wimbledon title.
The match was also quite important for Roger Fedrer too who had won this Wimbledon Title 7 times and this time he has come to win his 8th Wimbledon title to break the record of Pete Sampras but unfortunately the Serbian player increases this time for Roger Fedrer for one more year.
The match was quite tough and long as the whole match duration reached up to 3 hours and 55 minutes. In 5 set of game Djokovic beat Fedrer by 6-7,6-4,7-6,5-7,6-4.
After winning this Title, Novak Djokovic has again become No.1 Tennis player in the World. In the closing ceremony also , Roger was quite emotional and hoping to win back this title next year.
